The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Chemik Pustkow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Metcalfe to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Chemik Pustkow defense, Zane Douglas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Abbotts. The Chemik Pustkow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Abbotts should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chemik Pustkow getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Frankie Moorhouse hit a great ball. Chemik Pustkow's Jonathan Abbotts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Robins in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chilcompton's zone, Ronnie Metcalfe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Ingram came out of the goal and Ronnie Metcalfe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the game, Frankie Moorhouse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alfred Ingram was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Chemik Pustkow's Jonathan Abbotts got control of the ball when Zane Douglas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ronnie Metcalfe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Ingram was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Jordoan came free, but Alfred Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylon Kerr took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Ingram. Alfred Ingram dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Alfred Ingram showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Nelson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Robins to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Tony Robins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Tony Robins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chilcompton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chemik Pustkow the free kick. The supporters of Chemik Pustkow booed when Chilcompton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Robins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Chilcompton's Zane Douglas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Abbotts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Peacock in the 64th minute of play forced Chemik Pustkow's goalkeeper Jonathan Abbotts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Chemik Pustkow's Frankie Moorhouse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Chilcompton's Alfred Ingram proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Chilcompton from getting a goal against them. Ronnie Metcalfe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfred Ingram firmly grabbed it by the left post. Glen Snowden's late challenge caught a Chemik Pustkow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Glen Snowden helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Chilcompton got a freekick which was hit by Glen Snowden. Alfred Ingram was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Frankie Moorhouse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frankie Moorhouse really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Chemik Pustkow's Jonathan Abbotts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Robins in the 78th minute of play. Alfred Ingram made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daryl Robinson in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Ronnie Metcalfe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Ingram. Chilcompton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronnie Metcalfe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Chemik Pustkow's Ronnie Metcalfe got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Nelson came free, but Alfred Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chemik Pustkow booed when Chilcompton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glen Snowden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Chemik Pustkow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Metcalfe to maneuver through the defense. Chemik Pustkow's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
