An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Åkesson in the 8th minute of play forced Fc Earls's goalkeeper Lance Holdroyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Pelsall booed when Fc Earls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyn Gold didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwyn Gold hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, FC Pelsall's Lance Holdroyd threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Axel Åkesson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Behiç Uzcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Lance Holdroyd made a huge save. Gwyn Gold took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ted Winstanley. Ted Winstanley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when 김 명 got free with Lance Holdroyd in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Behiç Uzcan came free with the goalkeeper in the 44th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lance Holdroyd could save by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Åkesson to make the kick off. Ben Edmonton lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of FC Pelsall booed when Fc Earls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Edmonton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rob Hurren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Winstanley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Fc Earls's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Åkesson came free, but Lance Holdroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Behiç Uzcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Holdroyd having to interfere. Nathan Crowther kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Lance Holdroyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 명, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Rob Hurren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Winstanley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. FC Pelsall were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Fc Earls for a fine match.
