Nicky Bensley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daryl Robinson in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Daryl Robinson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley. Nicky Bensley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute Daryl Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Bensley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Ronnie Metcalfe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nicky Bensley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 16th minute of the game, Ronan Cusack landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 16 minutes, Huey Dawson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlin How Unite and the Chemik Pustkow players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carlin How Unite's Huey Dawson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Carlin How Unite from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Smikle kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Carlin How Unite booed when Chemik Pustkow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daryl Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ronnie Metcalfe notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley. Nicky Bensley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Abbotts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Bensley in the 28th minute of play. Nicky Bensley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronnie Metcalfe went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ronnie Metcalfe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nicky Bensley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Smikle hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The long shot by Fitz Watson in the 35th minute really tested Nicky Bensley's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Chemik Pustkow's Fitz Watson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Carlin How Unite's Nicky Bensley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Carlin How Unite from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daryl Robinson in the 45th minute of play forced Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Huey Dawson made the kick off in the second half. Ronnie Metcalfe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Bensley having to interfere. Ronnie Metcalfe might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicky Bensley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronnie Metcalfe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carlin How Unite's goalkeeper Nicky Bensley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Smikle hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Ronnie Metcalfe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Nicky Bensley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ronnie Metcalfe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Coates during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chemik Pustkow booed when Carlin How Unite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Coates didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ronnie Metcalfe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicky Bensley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Metcalfe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicky Bensley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Metcalfe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Chemik Pustkow's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
