Spectators: 5015 (Terracing: 4005, Seating: 1005, VIP seats: 5) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Calvin Walls took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Calvin Walls got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bobby Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. James Hotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bobby Walker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. James Hotte came out and tried to block the shot, but Bobby Walker slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. When Winchester FC's Calvin Walls in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academy Team's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 played minutes Academy Team got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Burrows. Academy Team's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bobby Walker 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Mark Draper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Academy Team's Mark Draper in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winchester FC's goalie prevented a goal. Calvin Walls who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of James Hotte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Damon Cousins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damon Cousins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Hotte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matty Beadel's late challenge caught a Academy Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matty Beadel helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Walker in the 45th minute of play forced Academy Team's goalkeeper James Hotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Hotte made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Dom Partridge sent off a good shot on target. Calvin Walls blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without James Hotte having to make a save. In the 47th minute Calvin Walls shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Hotte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Hanson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bobby Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Calvin Walls might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over James Hotte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calvin Walls ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Academy Team's zone, Freddie Jackson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. James Hotte came out of the goal and Freddie Jackson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Bobby Walker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. James Hotte was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. James Hotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Cousins in the 64th minute of the match. Calvin Walls recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes, Sonny Ferrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academy Team and the Winchester FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Academy Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Ferrell to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Bobby Walker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobby Walker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Winchester FC's Francis Deveraux got a free kick in the 75th minute. Seth Talbot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Hanson in the 77th minute of play. James Hotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Walker in the 79th minute of play. The Winchester FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Winchester FC's Calvin Walls looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. James Hotte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Walls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Walls in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg James Hotte saved Academy Team from getting behind. If Calvin Walls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seth Talbot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Draper in the 96th minute. Winchester FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
