The crowd rose to their feet as Reynaldo Mede kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Richard Rathmell. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Richard Rathmell was a little too slow when Horea Decuseară got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-0. 柯翔峰 kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, 柯翔峰 made a precise shot to the right of Richard Rathmell. Wanborough's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 32 played minutes Wanborough got a freekick which was hit by Eric Heslop. Richard Rathmell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horea Decuseară's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Richard Rathmell came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Holy Cross Mountains's Ian Watson. But to his dismay, Ian Watson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Richard Rathmell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Wanborough's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Mede came free, but Richard Rathmell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Heslop hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Ian Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alec Halloran to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Wanborough's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Decuseară came free, but Richard Rathmell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Wanborough's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Decuseară came free, but Richard Rathmell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wanborough's goalkeeper Richard Rathmell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ian Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Richard Rathmell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Eric Heslop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Horea Decuseară sped through Wanborough's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Rathmell. Eric Heslop hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Reynaldo Mede ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Rathmell was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 76 minutes into the game, Holy Cross Mountains's Ian Watson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richard Rathmell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Watson in the 79th minute of play forced Wanborough's goalkeeper Richard Rathmell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Stroescu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Ian Watson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Richard Rathmell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Horea Decuseară's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Rathmell was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Decuseară in the 88th minute of play forced Wanborough's goalkeeper Richard Rathmell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Rathmell came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Holy Cross Mountains's Emanuel Stroescu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Stroescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Richard Rathmell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Stroescu in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Holy Cross Mountains players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
