Spectators: 6999 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Zyerpaus's Blair Speight started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Curtis Hornsby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Queen Street FC and the Zyerpaus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jack Ashton had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Blair Speight's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jack Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Gulliver in the 6th minute of the match. Queen Street FC's Jack Ashton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Speight in the 8th minute of play. Jack Ashton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Gulliver in the 15th minute of play. Jack Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Gulliver in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Speight in the 20th minute of play forced Queen Street FC's goalkeeper Jack Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jay Harris was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dale Basham showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Jack Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blair Speight in the 27th minute of the match. Pete Sollit took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jay Harris. Jay Harris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Zyerpaus's Jay Harris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Sollit in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Queen Street FC's zone, Blair Speight stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Ashton came out of the goal and Blair Speight tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jack Ashton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damon Gulliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Kev Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jack Ashton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blair Speight, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Mortimer during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pete Sollit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Blair Speight had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Rick Croyden kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jack Ashton. That made the score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Joey Reading managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zyerpaus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joey Reading was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blair Speight fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Ashton having to interfere. Jay Harris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil Lawton in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Pete Sollit left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Queen Street FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Blair Speight could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jack Ashton made a huge save. If Damon Gulliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Blair Speight got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre Britton made in the 77th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Dale Basham. In the 83rd minute, Joey Reading hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Queen Street FC booed when Zyerpaus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blair Speight didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damon Gulliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jack Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
