Leigh Deakin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Walker in the 13th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zackary Maylett during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leigh Deakin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Walker in the 22nd minute of play. Leigh Deakin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Walls, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Centre of Excellence AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zackary Maylett to maneuver through the defense. The Winchester FC fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Winchester FC's Calvin Walls looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bobby Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leigh Deakin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calvin Walls's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Dom Partridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leigh Deakin having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben Griffin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Griffin in the 51st minute of play forced Winchester FC's goalkeeper Seth Talbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Centre of Excellence AFC's Leigh Deakin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Centre of Excellence AFC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 54 in the game by Calvin Walls from a close distance when the talented Leigh Deakin managed to make a qualified save. Centre of Excellence AFC's players were relieved. In the 55th minute, Centre of Excellence AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dom Partridge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bobby Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leigh Deakin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Walls in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leigh Deakin saved Centre of Excellence AFC from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Calvin Walls ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leigh Deakin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Walls in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leigh Deakin saved Centre of Excellence AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Griffin in the 69th minute of play forced Winchester FC's goalkeeper Seth Talbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bobby Walker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leigh Deakin came out and tried to block the shot, but Bobby Walker slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 72nd minute. When Dom Partridge came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Winchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dom Partridge couldn't finish the play. After 77 played minutes Centre of Excellence AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zackary Maylett. Calvin Walls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Calvin Walls left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Winchester FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
