Rick Bridgeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rutger Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Winterbine in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Watton-at-Stone's goalkeeper Ryan Harper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Watton-at-Stone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Jordoan to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute Rick Bridgeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Les Dexter in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryan Harper saved Watton-at-Stone from getting behind. Tony Akins hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Keith Jordoan charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Keith Jordoan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Tunarii booed when Watton-at-Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Jordoan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rick Bridgeman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tunarii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Bridgeman in the 45th minute of play forced Watton-at-Stone's goalkeeper Ryan Harper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Tunarii's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rick Bridgeman in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rick Bridgeman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Watton-at-Stone's zone, Les Dexter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryan Harper came out of the goal and Les Dexter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rick Bridgeman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryan Harper having to make a save. A collision led to Watton-at-Stone getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marty Gale hit a great ball. Ryan Harper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dom Scott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rutger Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Winterbine, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Rutger Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Chambers in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marty Gale during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Watton-at-Stone getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marty Gale hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Tunarii defense, Kris Winterbine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rutger Holm. The FC Tunarii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rutger Holm should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Tunarii's Rick Bridgeman got a free kick in the 71st minute. Rutger Holm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Blake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Bridgeman in the 74th minute of play forced Watton-at-Stone's goalkeeper Ryan Harper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rick Bridgeman struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ryan Harper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tunarii. The supporters of FC Tunarii booed when Watton-at-Stone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Jordoan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Les Dexter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tunarii's supporters rose to their feet, but Les Dexter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryan Harper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Sean Chambers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Les Dexter fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Tunarii's protests and gave Les Dexter a yellow card for diving instead. Les Dexter kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Watton-at-Stone got a freekick which was hit by Keith Jordoan. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Tunarii had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
