Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Austin Marchant started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Droylsden's Alastair Patterson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sebastian Gurney. In the 23rd minute, Alastair Patterson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Alastair Patterson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Gurney. Sebastian Gurney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alastair Patterson in the 31st minute. Alastair Patterson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Gurney made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gerry Fleming sent off a good shot on target. Junior Owls Project's Sebastian Gurney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Junior Owls Project from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Alastair Patterson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Gurney. Junior Owls Project's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alastair Patterson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alastair Patterson was the one to do the kick off. Piers Kerridge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kev Hazledine in the 54th minute. After 57 minutes of play, Droylsden's Alastair Patterson made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Gurney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugh Newby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Gurney having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Kev Hazledine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Junior Owls Project's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kev Hazledine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyler Jordoan charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyler Jordoan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Tyler Jordoan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Junior Owls Project got a freekick which was hit by Austin Marchant. After a defensive mix-up in Junior Owls Project's zone, Trey Carsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Gurney came out of the goal and Trey Carsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Junior Owls Project's Sebastian Gurney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alastair Patterson in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alastair Patterson in the 72nd minute of play forced Junior Owls Project's goalkeeper Sebastian Gurney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sammy Crowther during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sammy Crowther kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Austin Marchant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piers Kerridge having to interfere. Austin Marchant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Piers Kerridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Droylsden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Crowther to maneuver through the defense. Garth Reddington hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alastair Patterson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Droylsden's supporters rose to their feet, but Alastair Patterson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Gurney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philip Branch hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Droylsden's Alastair Patterson made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Gurney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Junior Owls Project's Sebastian Gurney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugh Newby in the 98th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Droylsden fully deserved thier win.
