Spectators: 7466 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 120) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toby Weatherhead took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Toby Weatherhead ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laurence Baldwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the London Army United defense, Kenny Storry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damien Steele. The London Army United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damien Steele should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Rufus Christensen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of London Army United's Damien Steele. Damien Steele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the match, London Army United's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Beevers came free, but Damien Steele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curtis Beevers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the match, Toby Weatherhead got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laurence Baldwin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 24th minute Rufus Christensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damien Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. London Army United's Damien Steele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tris Page in the 30th minute of play. After 34th play minutes Toby Weatherhead shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Laurence Baldwin and just under the crossbar into goal. 41 minutes into the game, Carlton Bateson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. London Army United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Longridge AFC the free kick. Laurence Baldwin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toby Weatherhead in the 45th minute. Toby Weatherhead blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laurence Baldwin having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rufus Christensen was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Tris Page mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Longridge AFC and the London Army United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Longridge AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tris Page hit a great ball. After 55th play minutes Toby Weatherhead shot 4-2, a short shot which went by Laurence Baldwin and just under the crossbar into goal. When Sacha Nightingale fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored London Army United's protests and gave Sacha Nightingale a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Longridge AFC booed when London Army United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacha Nightingale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damien Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Warden in the 62nd minute of play. After 68 played minutes, London Army United's Franz Hilton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laurence Baldwin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in London Army United reached it. In the 71st play minute Tris Page came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Damien Steele. 5-3. After a rather tough play, Longridge AFC's Tris Page got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 79 played minutes Longridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Franz Holmes. In the 80th minute Toby Weatherhead shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Baldwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
