After having played for 14 minutes, Edward Silvester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunton Green United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Silvester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andre Lappin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sebastian Gurney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luke Goodwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Austin Marchant in the 21st minute of the match. If Kev Hazledine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Gurney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Lappin in the 28th minute. Luke Goodwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Austin Marchant, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Edward Silvester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Austin Marchant to make the kick off. Dennis Robson's shot from long distance in the 64th minute was not bad at all, but Dunton Green United's Luke Goodwick knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a rather tough play, Dunton Green United's Edward Silvester got a free kick in the 68th minute. Steve Shephard hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Robert Batty, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edward Silvester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. A beautiful save bye Dunton Green United's goalie prevented a goal. Austin Marchant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Goodwick having to interfere.
