Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ged Mayfield started the match with the kick off. Alfredo Intxixu took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurence Baldwin. Laurence Baldwin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Laurence Baldwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Seb Holdsworth came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Fc Malá Lula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seb Holdsworth couldn't finish the play. Laurence Baldwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ged Mayfield in the 27th minute of play. Scott Bramhall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tris Page in the 29th minute of play. When Fc Malá Lula's Alfredo Intxixu in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Longridge AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Intxixu in the 33rd minute of play forced Longridge AFC's goalkeeper Laurence Baldwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Ged Mayfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Malá Lula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ged Mayfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ged Mayfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laurence Baldwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ged Mayfield ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ged Mayfield in the 44th minute of play forced Longridge AFC's goalkeeper Laurence Baldwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Alfredo Intxixu sped through Longridge AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laurence Baldwin.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rufus Christensen to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Alfredo Intxixu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laurence Baldwin, 0-4. Longridge AFC's Laurence Baldwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Longridge AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Longridge AFC booed when Fc Malá Lula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Intxixu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurence Baldwin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Kenny Storry kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Ged Mayfield put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Laurence Baldwin. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Malá Lula's Ged Mayfield slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laurence Baldwin. That made the score 0-8 after 82 minutes of play. Alfredo Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Baldwin having to interfere. A collision led to Fc Malá Lula getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Seb Holdsworth hit a great ball. Fc Malá Lula's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
