The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kev Hazledine to strike the kick off in the second half. George Green came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Junior Owls Project's Austin Marchant. But to his dismay, Austin Marchant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Philip Branch kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sebastian Gurney didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After 66 played minutes, Junior Owls Project's Lenny Westwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Green came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Junior Owls Project reached it. Kev Hazledine took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Green. George Green dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Duncan Draper hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Kev Hazledine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junior Owls Project's supporters rose to their feet, but Kev Hazledine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Green breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. George Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Marchant in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Branch in the 77th minute of play forced Runcorn's goalkeeper George Green to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Gurney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dane Beaver in the 84th minute. Austin Marchant might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Green. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Austin Marchant ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Runcorn's zone, Austin Marchant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Green came out of the goal and Austin Marchant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Junior Owls Project's Philip Branch got a free kick in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kev Hazledine in the 95th minute of play forced Runcorn's goalkeeper George Green to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
