Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joel Dlyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The White Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Dlyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart Sawyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stuart Sawyer came out of the goal and Joel Dlyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Cartwright took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stuart Sawyer. Stuart Sawyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jimmy Ackroyd was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 58 played minutes Beverley Saints F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Ackroyd. In the 60th match minute, Beverley Saints F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Gale to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Beverley Saints F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Dlyan came free, but Stuart Sawyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
