Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The White Rovers's Mattias Cartwright started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Dlyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Dlyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Stuart Sawyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mattias Cartwright sped through Beverley Saints F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stuart Sawyer. After 16 minutes, Jimmy Ackroyd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beverley Saints F.C. and the The White Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Beverley Saints F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Ackroyd. After 18 minutes, Travis McGrath mouthed his way into the referee's book. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mattias Cartwright took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Stuart Sawyer to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Joel Dlyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The White Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Francis Gurney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Clarkson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Mattias Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colin Stone kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Colin Stone's late challenge caught a The White Rovers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Colin Stone helped the player get up and apologised. Colin Stone hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Joel Dlyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The White Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Dlyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 35 minutes of play, The White Rovers's Mattias Cartwright made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stuart Sawyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Dlyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Joel Dlyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Beverley Saints F.C.'s Ritchie Gale got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Doug Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joel Dlyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The White Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Dlyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart Sawyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When The White Rovers's Mattias Cartwright in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beverley Saints F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
When Joel Dlyan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the The White Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Dlyan couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Beverley Saints F.C.'s zone, Joel Dlyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stuart Sawyer came out of the goal and Joel Dlyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Cartwright took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stuart Sawyer. Stuart Sawyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jimmy Ackroyd was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 58 played minutes Beverley Saints F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Ackroyd. In the 60th match minute, Beverley Saints F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Gale to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Beverley Saints F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Dlyan came free, but Stuart Sawyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Colin Stone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ritchie Gale hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Joel Dlyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Dlyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Stuart Sawyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stuart Sawyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Dlyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the referee ended the match the The White Rovers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
