Spectators: 8038 (Terracing: 6029, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) Ace fc's Gordon Froggatt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Swanson in the 6th minute of play forced Wembley City's goalkeeper Jacob Clare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wembley City's Zack Hallam got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matty Thomson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Wembley City defense, Gordon Froggatt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacob Clare. The Wembley City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacob Clare should have stopped the shot. Julian Edworthy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ace fc's Brendon Denham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rowan Salmon in the 31st minute of play. After 31 played minutes Ace fc got a freekick which was hit by Blair Lilley. If Zack Hallam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Ozzy Gildea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Clare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, Graeme Beresford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wembley City and the Ace fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ace fc booed when Wembley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Beresford didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Jack Dexter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Clare showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacob Clare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Boyd went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute, Quentin Swanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Zack Hallam made the kick off in the second half. Johnny Boyd's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jacob Clare firmly grabbed it by the left post. Brendon Denham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zack Hallam in the 56th minute of play. Johnny Boyd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jacob Clare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rowan Salmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Clare didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Jacob Clare made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Johnny Boyd sent off a good shot on target. Ozzy Gildea struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jacob Clare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ace fc. Den Cookson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendon Denham having to interfere. Ace fc's Ozzy Gildea got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zack Hallam in the 90th minute of play forced Ace fc's goalkeeper Brendon Denham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Boyd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jacob Clare made a huge save.
