Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mattias Cartwright took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Mattias Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Archie Garner kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, Ninfield's Liam Meehan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francis Gurney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ninfield reached it. Mattias Cartwright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of The White Rovers booed when Ninfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piers Jennings didn't get a good kick on the ball. The White Rovers's Joel Dlyan got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mattias Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Cartwright in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie Meehan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 20 minutes, Mattias Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The White Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Cartwright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francis Gurney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Bator in the 24th minute of play. Francis Gurney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ritchie Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 34 minutes, Steve Clarke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninfield and the The White Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The White Rovers's Samuel Story-Moore was substituted for Joel Dlyan. 40 minutes into the game, Samuel Story-Moore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The White Rovers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninfield the free kick. The supporters of Ninfield booed when The White Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Cartwright didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 played minutes, Ninfield's Liam Meehan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francis Gurney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ninfield reached it. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Mattias Cartwright sped through Ninfield's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddie Meehan. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Samuel Story-Moore struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Freddie Meehan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The White Rovers. After 56 minutes, Piers Jennings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninfield and the The White Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ninfield! After a defensive mix-up in Ninfield's zone, Samuel Story-Moore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Meehan came out of the goal and Samuel Story-Moore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mattias Winship fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The White Rovers's protests and gave Mattias Winship a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes The White Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Winship. Freddie Meehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Story-Moore in the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mattias Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. The White Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Cartwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddie Meehan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Samuel Story-Moore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, The White Rovers's Mattias Cartwright nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddie Meehan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Mattias Cartwright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ninfield getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Vinnie May hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Samuel Story-Moore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Meehan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Story-Moore in the 94th minute of play forced Ninfield's goalkeeper Freddie Meehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 99th minute Ritchie Bator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francis Gurney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The White Rovers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
