Freedom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Kevin Bennett kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Johnny Boyd scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Duckworth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Freedom booed when Ace fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Swanson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnny Boyd took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dylan Duckworth. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gordon Froggatt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Freedom's Dylan Duckworth got control of the ball when Johnny Boyd tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freedom's Dylan Duckworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Freedom from getting a goal against them. After having played for 56 minutes, Gordon Froggatt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gordon Froggatt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Ace fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Freedom's Dylan Duckworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Froggatt in the 60th minute of play. Dylan Duckworth acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jack Dexter. After some careless play in the Ace fc defense, Clive Bourton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brendon Denham. The Ace fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brendon Denham should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Freedom getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Keanu Harban hit a great ball. The supporters of Ace fc booed when Freedom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dylan Duckworth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in Freedom's zone, Ozzy Gildea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Duckworth came out of the goal and Ozzy Gildea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quentin Swanson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Dylan Duckworth made a huge save. Dylan Duckworth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Boyd in the 91st minute. Johnny Boyd scored 1-7 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Duckworth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
