In the 10th minute, Mattias Cartwright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of The White Rovers booed when Freedom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Bourton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes, Mattias Cartwright made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Freedom's Dylan Duckworth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dylan Duckworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Cartwright in the 20th minute of play. In the 25th minute Nick Rushforth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Duckworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Cartwright in the 26th minute of play forced Freedom's goalkeeper Dylan Duckworth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes The White Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Joel Dlyan. Dylan Duckworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Cartwright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylan Duckworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Dlyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Mattias Cartwright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Freedom's Dylan Duckworth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dylan Duckworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Dlyan in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of The White Rovers booed when Freedom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaz Webster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Duckworth came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by The White Rovers's Mattias Cartwright. But to his dismay, Mattias Cartwright quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 39th minute, Mattias Cartwright left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The White Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Doug Walker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Mattias Cartwright had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Duckworth. Freedom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Cartwright was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Fronczak to make the kick off. Freedom's Dylan Duckworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Freedom from getting a goal against them. Dylan Duckworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doug Walker in the 53rd minute of the match. Doug Walker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dylan Duckworth came out and tried to block the shot, but Doug Walker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Joel Dlyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The White Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Dlyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Duckworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Dlyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dylan Duckworth made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Freedom got a freekick which was hit by Gaz Webster. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Mattias Cartwright sped through Freedom's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dylan Duckworth. In the 64th minute, Joel Dlyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The White Rovers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Mattias Cartwright put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Dylan Duckworth. Dylan Duckworth made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mattias Cartwright sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the game, Joel Dlyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Dylan Duckworth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mattias Cartwright charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Cartwright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mattias Cartwright kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dylan Duckworth made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mattias Cartwright sent off a good shot on target. Dylan Duckworth made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Nick Rushforth sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over The White Rovers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Freedom throughout the match.
