After 5 minutes of play, Ace fc's Ozzy Gildea made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddie Meehan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Johnny Boyd succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. 14 minutes into the match, Ninfield's goalkeeper Freddie Meehan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Boyd. After 15 minutes of play, Ace fc's Quentin Swanson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddie Meehan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Ninfield booed when Ace fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ozzy Gildea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mickey Ashton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gordon Froggatt in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie Meehan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddie Meehan made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Johnny Boyd sent off a good shot on target. Freddie Meehan was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Johnny Boyd capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johnny Boyd really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. A hard shot by Jack Dexter from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Freddie Meehan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute, Stew Coton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Meehan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Froggatt in the 32nd minute of play. Freddie Meehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Froggatt in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Lilley in the 42nd minute of play forced Ninfield's goalkeeper Freddie Meehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ninfield getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Calvin Hunt hit a great ball. Ninfield's Freddie Meehan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Froggatt in the 47th minute of play. Brendon Denham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ritchie Bator in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gordon Froggatt was the one to do the kick off. Ace fc's Brendon Denham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Bator in the 55th minute of play. Freddie Meehan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Boyd in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ninfield's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Froggatt came free, but Freddie Meehan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Boyd in the 61st minute of play forced Ninfield's goalkeeper Freddie Meehan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stew Coton charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stew Coton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gordon Froggatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Meehan having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Gordon Froggatt notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Ninfield's Freddie Meehan. Freddie Meehan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ozzy Gildea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Ninfield's goal looked a bit too open when Gordon Froggatt came free, but Freddie Meehan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calvin Hunt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. Freddie Meehan came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ace fc's Gordon Froggatt. But to his dismay, Gordon Froggatt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Brendon Denham acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Liam Meehan. In the 98th minute, Vinnie May had to leave the field with a concussion. 98 minutes into the game, Quentin Swanson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ace fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninfield the free kick. In the 99th match minute, Ace fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Swanson to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ace fc had won after a very even match.
