Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Liam Coulson made the kick off which started today's match. Chesney Fish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Derek Atkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liam Coulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Liam Coulson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marlow FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Universe the free kick. Chesney Fish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Atkinson having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Kris Cornforth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marlow FC's zone, Kris Cornforth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garth Revell came out of the goal and Kris Cornforth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derek Atkinson came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marlow FC's Chesney Fish. But to his dismay, Chesney Fish quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 37 minutes of play, Marlow FC's Chesney Fish made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Derek Atkinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Black Universe booed when Marlow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fitz Coote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chesney Fish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Derek Atkinson was a little too slow when Liam Coulson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0.

The wind increased when Kris Cornforth made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Chesney Fish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derek Atkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Chesney Fish left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlow FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 60th minute, Kurt Partridge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match Lenny Halliday climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Garth Revell. In the 65th minute Liam Coulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derek Atkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liam Coulson might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derek Atkinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liam Coulson ran back to his position shaking his head. Derek Atkinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chesney Fish's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Universe's goalkeeper Derek Atkinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Black Universe's Derek Atkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Chilton in the 72nd minute of play. When Pete Chilton came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Marlow FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pete Chilton couldn't finish the play. Kris Cornforth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lenny Halliday struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Garth Revell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Universe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Fish in the 92nd minute of play forced Black Universe's goalkeeper Derek Atkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chesney Fish struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Derek Atkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlow FC. Marlow FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
