Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Liam Coulson kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Liam Coulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liam Coulson scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Pitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th match minute, Donnington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Pearson to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th play minute Chesney Fish came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karl Pitt. 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Marlow FC's Rhys Eldridge ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl Pitt. Karl Pitt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Doug Butcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garth Revell having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Tyrell in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garth Revell saved Marlow FC from getting behind. Dave Wilkes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garth Revell. Marlow FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Liam Sears received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Garth Revell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donnington United's Rick Tyrell got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gav Spink came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Donnington United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gav Spink couldn't finish the play. Rhys Eldridge kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Liam Sears had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Donnington United's Karl Pitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Coulson in the 58th minute of play. When Doug Butcher came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Donnington United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doug Butcher couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liam Coulson in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Pitt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl Pitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Chilton in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Donnington United got a freekick which was hit by Dave Wilkes. 71 minutes into the match, Donnington United's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Coulson came free, but Karl Pitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doug Butcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Doug Butcher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donnington United's supporters rose to their feet, but Doug Butcher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garth Revell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gav Spink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute.
