Samuel Evans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Brendon Denham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Quentin Swanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 minutes, Ozzy Gildea mouthed his way into the referee's book. After 27 played minutes, Ace fc's Jack Dexter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stuart Sawyer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ace fc reached it. Stuart Sawyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Froggatt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Froggatt scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stuart Sawyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Clarkson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Brendon Denham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnny Boyd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stuart Sawyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Stuart Sawyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Froggatt in the 40th minute of the match. Blair Lilley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Stuart Sawyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Johnny Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gordon Froggatt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johnny Boyd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Stuart Sawyer made a huge save. After 56 played minutes Beverley Saints F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jim Branson. 59 minutes into the match, Beverley Saints F.C.'s goalkeeper Stuart Sawyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Boyd. After a rather tough play, Ace fc's Ozzy Gildea got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tommy Clarkson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brendon Denham having to make a save. 71 minutes into the match, Ace fc's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Clarkson came free, but Brendon Denham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Beverley Saints F.C.'s Ritchie Gale got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Ace fc's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Evans came free, but Brendon Denham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
