An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Saunders in the 17th minute of play forced Piqnicite's goalkeeper Alfred Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Saunders in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Deacon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfred Deacon came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Arcena's Rio Lyons. But to his dismay, Rio Lyons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 27 minutes, Edward Saunders made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Piqnicite's Alfred Deacon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Adam Fowler's late challenge caught a Arcena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Fowler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Piqnicite getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adam Fowler hit a great ball. Alfred Deacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Saunders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Saunders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alfred Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Rio Lyons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Edward Saunders made the kick off in the second half. Rio Lyons's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Deacon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Arcena's Shaun Bowen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Deacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Howson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Fowler, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Arcena's supporters rose to their feet, but Shaun Bowen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Deacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 77 minutes of play, Piqnicite's Adam Fowler made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Howson was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Piqnicite's Alfred Deacon got control of the ball when Rio Lyons tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shaun Bowen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Deacon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Edward Saunders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arcena's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Saunders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Deacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shaun Bowen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Deacon having to make a save. When the match was over Arcena could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Piqnicite throughout the match.
