Everton Football Club's Wally Alderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Notley in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Euston City's Kirk Straker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wally Alderson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zak Spencer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Euston City's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Zak Spencer scored to the left of an out of position Stan Webster, making the score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kirk Straker in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wally Alderson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Blair Notley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wally Alderson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Kirk Straker notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Everton Football Club's Wally Alderson. Wally Alderson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wally Alderson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Notley's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Kirk Straker took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wally Alderson. Wally Alderson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 86th minute, Blair Notley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Euston City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
