With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Deacon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Piqnicite getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Roger Couzens hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Carl Reeves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfred Deacon was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Zak Spencer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Deacon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zak Spencer in the 18th minute of play forced Piqnicite's goalkeeper Alfred Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Reeves struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alfred Deacon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Everton Football Club. 22 minutes into the match, Alf Osborn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wally Alderson, 1-0. The supporters of Piqnicite booed when Everton Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Pritchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Tris Warner's late challenge caught a Everton Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Deacon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zak Spencer went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Crispin Woolford hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tris Warner in the 70th minute of play forced Everton Football Club's goalkeeper Wally Alderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremy Bridgeworth got free with Alfred Deacon in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfred Deacon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zak Spencer's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Zak Spencer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Piqnicite getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Travis Lansdell hit a great ball. After 96 minutes of play, Piqnicite's Adam Fowler made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wally Alderson was left in no man's land by his defense there!
