Spectators: 7974 (Terracing: 5982, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) Piqnicite's Adam Fowler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Boscastle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathan Bittner to maneuver through the defense. Mike Walters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Osborn in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piqnicite's Travis Lansdell got a free kick in the 16th minute. Alastair Harris succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Crispin Collingwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfred Deacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Crispin Collingwood ran back to his position shaking his head. Crispin Collingwood struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alfred Deacon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boscastle. In the 28thth minute of the game Alastair Harris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piqnicite's Alfred Deacon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Boscastle's Alastair Harris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Conan Edmunds sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boscastle's Crispin Collingwood got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conan Edmunds got free with Alfred Deacon in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnathan Bittner's late challenge caught a Piqnicite's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnathan Bittner helped the player get up and apologised. Johnathan Bittner kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Adam Fowler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Deacon made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Conan Edmunds sent off a good shot on target. After 45 minutes, Travis Lansdell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piqnicite and the Boscastle players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, one of Piqnicite:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piqnicite. When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Boscastle's Lewis Van Der Hoorn got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfred Deacon. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny French in the 54th minute of play forced Boscastle's goalkeeper Mike Walters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Piqnicite got a freekick which was hit by Travis Lansdell. Dave Mortimer's late challenge caught a Boscastle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dave Mortimer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Dave Mortimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Crispin Collingwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tris Warner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Boscastle's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Fowler came free, but Mike Walters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Crispin Collingwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boscastle's supporters rose to their feet, but Crispin Collingwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Deacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Conan Edmunds ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Deacon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Crispin Collingwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alfred Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tris Warner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Piqnicite got a freekick which was hit by Jonny French. Alfred Deacon came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Boscastle's Crispin Collingwood. But to his dismay, Crispin Collingwood quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There was no doubt that Boscastle were the better team. Boscastle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
