Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Blair Notley got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes Piqnicite got a freekick which was hit by Tris Warner. Alfred Deacon was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Simeon Crosby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Simeon Crosby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Stan Webster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Fowler, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Stan Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clive Marriott in the 15th minute of the match. Alf Osborn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Stan Webster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blair Notley in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Deacon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, one of Piqnicite:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Piqnicite. Simeon Crosby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Piqnicite's zone, Kirk Straker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Deacon came out of the goal and Kirk Straker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Fowler to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Adam Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonny French hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Joel Brodie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Copsey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Deacon having to make a save. The Euston City fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Euston City's Blair Notley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Blair Notley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Piqnicite's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy Pickard came free, but Alfred Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Simeon Crosby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Euston City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simeon Crosby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Blair Notley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Deacon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Piqnicite defense, Nigel Goldsmith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Deacon. The Piqnicite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Deacon should have stopped the shot. Euston City's Stan Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Fowler in the 94th minute of play. Alfred Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirk Straker in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Euston City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
