Phil Copsey's late challenge caught a Brinklow United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phil Copsey helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Euston City got a freekick which was hit by Phil Copsey. The audience was convinced that Simeon Crosby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Drew Pointon was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Barney Mason dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stan Webster, 1-0. Kirk Straker might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Drew Pointon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kirk Straker ran back to his position shaking his head. Barney Mason fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Webster having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Pickard in the 20th minute of play forced Brinklow United's goalkeeper Drew Pointon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drew Pointon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blair Notley went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute, Simeon Crosby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grant Wring hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Euston City's Stan Webster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Mason in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Euston City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rhys Cummings was slow to take the kick. During this time Brinklow United's players had a chance to rest. Rhys Cummings made a great header on Brinklow United's corner, it was just that Euston City's Stan Webster managed to reach the ball for a save. Stan Webster was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenny Bayford showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. In the 44th minute, Blair Notley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Euston City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blair Notley to strike the kick off in the second half. Drew Pointon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kirk Straker in the 53rd minute. Gavin Waltham might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stan Webster. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavin Waltham ran back to his position shaking his head. Brinklow United's Drew Pointon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simeon Crosby in the 55th minute of play. Drew Pointon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simeon Crosby in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Euston City's Jeremy Pickard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Drew Pointon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 62 minutes into the match, Euston City's goal looked a bit too open when Barney Mason came free, but Stan Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Brinklow United's goalkeeper Drew Pointon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blair Notley. Kirk Strakers short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Drew Pointon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Kenny Bayford fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brinklow United's protests and gave Kenny Bayford a yellow card for diving instead. Kenny Bayford kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jeremy Pickard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Brinklow United's goalkeeper Drew Pointon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blair Notley. 69 minutes into the game, Rhys Cummings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brinklow United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Euston City the free kick. A collision led to Brinklow United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rhys Cummings hit a great ball. Drew Pointon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Notley in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute Blair Notley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Pointon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drew Pointon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Pickard in the 76th minute of play. Drew Pointon came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Euston City's Blair Notley. But to his dismay, Blair Notley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Brinklow United's Drew Pointon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Brinklow United from getting a goal against them. During the 84th minute of the match Kenny Bayford completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kenny Bayford a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th minute, Kenny Bayford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirk Strakers short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Drew Pointon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 89th match minute, Brinklow United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barney Mason to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Euston City getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Phil Copsey hit a great ball. Euston City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
