When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Saunders made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Juan José González sped through Arcena's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Howson. Gino Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Whitworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
