Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Peter Hewitt kicked off to start the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gary Gerrard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John Paul Holmes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Stratton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Paul Holmes to maneuver through the defense. When Simeon Rowland came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Stratton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simeon Rowland couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, John Paul Holmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perry Speight was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Peter Hewitt fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stratton City's protests and gave Peter Hewitt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Muie Steaua booed when Stratton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Hewitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Peter Hewitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stratton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Hewitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes Stratton City got a freekick which was hit by Trevor Dodgson. Tosh Swain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gary Gerrard in the 78th minute of the match. FC Muie Steaua's Perry Speight played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Hewitt in the 80th minute of play. Pat Prince could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tosh Swain made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary Gerrard in the 96th minute of play forced Stratton City's goalkeeper Tosh Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded FC Muie Steaua left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stratton City.
