The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simeon Crosby during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simeon Crosby kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Barney Marlow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Euston City's goal looked a bit too open when Olly Morley came free, but Stan Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of East Leakers booed when Euston City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phil Copsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stan Webster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Thompson in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Euston City's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Thompson came free, but Stan Webster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Euston City's Simeon Crosby got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Simeon Crosby off the ground. Kirk Straker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Conal Lewington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stan Webster came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by East Leakers's Richard Thompson. But to his dismay, Richard Thompson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Euston City booed when East Leakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Beswetherick didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Blair Notley came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Euston City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Notley couldn't finish the play. Aaron Beswetherick was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aaron Beswetherick kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Blair Notley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conal Lewington read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Richard Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Webster having to interfere. In the 47th minute Richard Thompson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stan Webster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Euston City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. East Leakers were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Thompson made a kick off. When Kirk Straker came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Euston City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kirk Straker couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Kirk Straker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stan Webster made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Richard Thompson sent off a good shot on target. Brendon Lowndes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Blair Notley, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeremy Pickard struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Conal Lewington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Euston City. Blair Notley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Conal Lewington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Euston City booed when East Leakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olly Morley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blair Notley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Conal Lewington. East Leakers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. East Leakers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
