Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dom Mills in the 10th minute of the match. Trev Cahill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Griffiths, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian York in the 13th minute of play forced Killer Giants FC's goalkeeper Noel Bullock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Aras Görkem Zümer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Thames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 17 played minutes River Thames FC got a freekick which was hit by Tod Cartwright. Noel Bullock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian York in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Marcus Swift left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Thames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ian York was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. River Thames FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Dom Mills fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Killer Giants FC's protests and gave Dom Mills a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Dom Mills hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noel Bullock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian York, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. River Thames FC's Ian York was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Noel Bullock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian York in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ian York notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Killer Giants FC's Noel Bullock. Noel Bullock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ritchie Knight-Percival was the one to do the kick off. Aras Görkem Zümer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Killer Giants FC defense, Ian York kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Bullock. The Killer Giants FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Bullock should have stopped the shot. Ritchie Knight-Percival could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Trev Cahill made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ritchie Knight-Percival. After a rather tough play, Killer Giants FC's Dom Mills got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Aaron Griffiths's late challenge caught a River Thames FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Griffiths helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Aaron Griffiths hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian York took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Bullock. Noel Bullock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. The audience was convinced that Ian York's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Bullock was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Noel Bullock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian York, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Aras Görkem Zümer struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Noel Bullock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Thames FC. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Killer Giants FC's goalkeeper Noel Bullock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ian York had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Killer Giants FC's Aaron Griffiths got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian York in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Bullock saved Killer Giants FC from getting behind. Ian York's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Bullock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Noel Bullock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian York went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Marcus Swift sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. River Thames FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
