Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) After 3rd play minutes Ian York shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jack Norton and just under the crossbar into goal. River Thames FC's Trev Cahill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Devine in the 9th minute of play. River Thames FC's Ian York was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gregory Winterburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trev Cahill having to interfere. Ian York succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. After a rather tough play, Sutton Valence FC's Bobby Evans got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Tod Cartwright shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack Norton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jack Norton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian York, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Devine in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's Ian York sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jack Norton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute Ian York shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Norton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Sutton Valence FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian York came free, but Jack Norton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Sutton Valence FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian York came free, but Jack Norton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick Laurie during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, one of Sutton Valence FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kristian Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billie Devine got free with Trev Cahill in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sutton Valence FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Patrick Laurie hit a great ball. After 74 minutes, Kristian Laycock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Thames FC and the Sutton Valence FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sutton Valence FC booed when River Thames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Laycock didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Billie Devine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ian York's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jack Norton was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Marcus Swift shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Norton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian York in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Norton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ian York struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jack Norton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Thames FC. After 97th play minutes Ian York shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Jack Norton and just under the crossbar into goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. River Thames FC had played much better football throughout.
