Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Drew Merrill made the kick off and thus started the match. Marcus Swift scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierce Bennett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierce Bennett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian York, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierce Bennett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Swift in the 8th minute of play. Pierce Bennett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian York in the 17th minute of play. Trev Cahill was a little too slow when Nial Blewitt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Beckton's goal looked a bit too open when Ian York came free, but Pierce Bennett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Beckton's Drew Merrill ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Trev Cahill. Trev Cahill yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ian York kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Beckton's goal looked a bit too open when Ian York came free, but Pierce Bennett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierce Bennett came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by River Thames FC's Ian York. But to his dismay, Ian York quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 42nd minute, Ian York left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Thames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian York to strike the kick off in the second half. River Thames FC's Trev Cahill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nial Blewitt in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ian York reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pierce Bennett. The goal made the score 2-6. Drew Merrill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loyd Harrington hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Beckton's goalkeeper Pierce Bennett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Baker. After 69 played minutes River Thames FC got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Laycock. 71 minutes into the match, Beckton's goalkeeper Pierce Bennett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Swift. Pierce Bennett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian York in the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the game, Ian York cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-7. Pierce Bennett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Beckton's goalkeeper Pierce Bennett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Swift. Beckton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Ian York scored to the left of an out of position Pierce Bennett, making the score, 2-8. Pierce Bennett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 2-9. 92 minutes into the match, Beckton's goalkeeper Pierce Bennett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Swift. 96 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Drew Merrill came free, but Trev Cahill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nial Blewitt took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trev Cahill. Trev Cahill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-9. River Thames FC played a much better game than Beckton and deserved their victory. The Beckton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
