The referee ignored Killer Giants FC's protests and gave Aaron Griffiths a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Killer Giants FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Aaron Griffiths hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Nial Blewitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killer Giants FC's Noel Bullock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dom Mills struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Pierce Bennett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killer Giants FC. Noel Bullock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Broom in the 27th minute. After 50 played minutes Beckton got a freekick which was hit by Callum Workman. Ritchie Knight-Percivals short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Pierce Bennett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pierce Bennett was a little too slow when Trey Ely got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. With a little luck, Beckton's Pierce Bennett got control of the ball when Ritchie Knight-Percival tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marc Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Noel Bullock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierce Bennett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Griffiths in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Killer Giants FC's Dom Mills ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pierce Bennett. Pierce Bennett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Killer Giants FC's Ritchie Knight-Percival slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pierce Bennett. That made the score 0-5 after 74 minutes of play. When Felix Pope came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Killer Giants FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Pope couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Trey Ely took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Pierce Bennett to make any attempt to save it. Beckton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aaron Griffiths 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. The Killer Giants FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Killer Giants FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
