After 10 minutes, Johnnie Robins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pucklechurch FC and the River Thames FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Pucklechurch FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Whitman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian York in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Callum Middleton saved Pucklechurch FC from getting behind. Isaac Avery struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Trev Cahill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucklechurch FC. 17 minutes into the match, Gez Tomkin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trev Cahill. River Thames FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gez Tomkin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gez Tomkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Trev Cahill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Pucklechurch FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Whitman. 26 minutes into the match, Pucklechurch FC's goalkeeper Callum Middleton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Swift. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian York in the 27th minute of play forced Pucklechurch FC's goalkeeper Callum Middleton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sean Bambrook during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Pucklechurch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Bambrook to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Marcus Swift ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Callum Middleton was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. River Thames FC's Trev Cahill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Avery in the 39th minute of play. Tod Cartwright kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Ian York shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Middleton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Tomkin in the 45th minute of the match. The throw-in from Charles Baker in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pucklechurch FC's Sol Smith. Harry Whitman's late challenge caught a River Thames FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Whitman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of River Thames FC booed when Pucklechurch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Whitman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian York to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Marcus Swift ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Callum Middleton was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Callum Middleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian York in the 60th minute of play. When River Thames FC's Ian York in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pucklechurch FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ian York scored 6-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Callum Middleton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Whitman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Trev Cahill made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Whitman. Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnnie Robins in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Avery came free, but Trev Cahill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tod Cartwright hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Aras Görkem Zümer charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aras Görkem Zümer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, River Thames FC's Aras Görkem Zümer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th match minute, River Thames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian York to maneuver through the defense. Pucklechurch FC's Callum Middleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian York in the 78th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Pucklechurch FC's Gez Tomkin made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Trev Cahill was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Marcus Swift notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Pucklechurch FC's Callum Middleton. Callum Middleton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Ian York hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trev Cahill stood somewhat misplaced when Gez Tomkin came free in front of goal and shot 7-3 to the left of him in the 96 minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. River Thames FC had won after a very even match.
