After a defensive mix-up in Huddersfield FC's zone, Zaq Biernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pete Halford came out of the goal and Zaq Biernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Derek Pitt struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Conal Edwards didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huddersfield FC. After some careless play in the MK Dans defense, Charles Gunn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conal Edwards. The MK Dans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conal Edwards should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Zaq Biernat dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pete Halford, 1-1. In the 25th match minute, MK Dans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Barber to maneuver through the defense. Charles Gunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conal Edwards having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in MK Dans's zone, Derek Pitt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conal Edwards came out of the goal and Derek Pitt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Gunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pete Halford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rex Way, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Derek Pitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Conal Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Derek Pitt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of MK Dans's Conal Edwards. Conal Edwards was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, MK Dans's goalkeeper Conal Edwards had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Derek Pitt. 96 minutes into the match, Huddersfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaq Biernat came free, but Pete Halford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Huddersfield FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MK Dans.
