An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Avery in the 4th minute of play forced Bulwell's goalkeeper Ben Gaskell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Frazer Odell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Gaskell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gez Tomkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With his leg Ben Gaskell managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Pucklechurch FC's Gez Tomkin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Callum Middleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Kellaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Bulwell's Frazer Odell got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Whitman in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Gaskell saved Bulwell from getting behind. If Isaac Avery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Avery's late challenge caught a Bulwell's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Avery helped the player get up and apologised. Isaac Avery kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Frazer Odell hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Callum Middleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Kellaway, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Pucklechurch FC's Gez Tomkin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ben Gaskell. Ben Gaskell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ty Kellaway made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Isaac Avery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pucklechurch FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Avery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ben Gaskell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frazer Odell got free with Callum Middleton in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Avery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Gaskell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gez Tomkin in the 66th minute of play. When Frazer Odell fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bulwell's protests and gave Frazer Odell a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Bulwell got a freekick which was hit by Frazer Odell. Harry Whitman might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ben Gaskell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Whitman ran back to his position shaking his head. Ben Gaskell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Avery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Whitman struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ben Gaskell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pucklechurch FC. In the 78th minute Isaac Avery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Gaskell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Pucklechurch FC's Gez Tomkin made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben Gaskell was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Pucklechurch FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ollie Devaney hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pucklechurch FC had played much better football throughout.
