Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gregory Winterburn started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rex Way got free with Jack Norton in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Norton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaq Biernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Rex Way received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jack Norton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sutton Valence FC defense, Rex Way kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Norton. The Sutton Valence FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Norton should have stopped the shot. Rex Way struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jack Norton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MK Dans. After 31 played minutes, MK Dans's Tyler Southgate shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jack Norton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MK Dans reached it. When MK Dans's Zaq Biernat in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sutton Valence FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Scott Ridgeway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Zaq Biernat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MK Dans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sutton Valence FC the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaq Biernat made a kick off. Zaq Biernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Norton having to interfere. When MK Dans's Rex Way in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sutton Valence FC's goalie prevented a goal. Geoff Titmus hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. MK Dans's Zaq Biernat got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jack Norton came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by MK Dans's Rex Way. But to his dismay, Rex Way quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Rex Way had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Zaq Biernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. MK Dans's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaq Biernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Norton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregory Winterburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conal Edwards having to interfere. Rex Way took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Norton. Jack Norton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The MK Dans fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when MK Dans's Zaq Biernat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rex Way struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jack Norton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MK Dans. Jack Norton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaq Biernat in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton Valence FC's zone, Rex Way stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jack Norton came out of the goal and Rex Way tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MK Dans had played much better football throughout.
