Grant Jennings's late challenge caught a Friggle FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierce Bennett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Friggle FC. Dale Cummings received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dale Cummings might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierce Bennett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Cummings ran back to his position shaking his head. Beckton's Pierce Bennett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Beckton from getting a goal against them. Pierce Bennett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Cummings, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Friggle FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
