The supporters of Warriors booed when River Thames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Swift didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yakov Taktarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trev Cahill having to interfere. Warriors's Mick Thomson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Warriors from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the game, Quint Verlengia threw the ball into play from the sideline. River Thames FC's Kristian Laycock quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 12th minute Ian York shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mick Thomson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mick Thomson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Swift in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Ian York shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mick Thomson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Marcus Swift notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Warriors's Mick Thomson. Mick Thomson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors's zone, Ian York stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mick Thomson came out of the goal and Ian York tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mick Thomson made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Marcus Swift sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Marcus Swift ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mick Thomson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Yakov Taktarov kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The throw-in from Ty Davey in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by River Thames FC's Charles Baker. Mick Thomson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Swift went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

Warriors's Mick Thomson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian York in the 53rd minute of play. Mick Thomson came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by River Thames FC's Ian York. But to his dismay, Ian York quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 63 minutes of play, River Thames FC's Ian York made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mick Thomson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mick Thomson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Swift in the 66th minute of play. Marcus Swift received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mick Thomson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ian York made a precise shot to the right of Mick Thomson. Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Leroy Easter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Swift struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Mick Thomson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Thames FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Tano in the 78th minute of play forced Warriors's goalkeeper Mick Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warriors's Mick Thomson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Tano in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakov Taktarov. Mick Thomson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Swift, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian York in the 86th minute of play forced Warriors's goalkeeper Mick Thomson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Warriors defense, Marcus Swift kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mick Thomson. The Warriors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mick Thomson should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Ty Davey in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by River Thames FC's Charles Baker. In the 93rd minute, Charles Baker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mick Thomson was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After a rather tough play, Warriors's Piotr Malarczyk got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Tod Cartwright shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mick Thomson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. River Thames FC had played much better football throughout.
