In the 11th minute, Huddersfield FC's Charles Gunn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Pete Halford was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pete Halford came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Pucklechurch FC's Isaac Avery. But to his dismay, Isaac Avery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Huddersfield FC's zone, Isaac Avery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pete Halford came out of the goal and Isaac Avery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Callum Middleton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gordon Newman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 34 minute of play. Pucklechurch FC's Callum Middleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Gunn in the 37th minute of play. Callum Middleton made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Derek Pitt sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Pucklechurch FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Whitman.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Gunn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gez Tomkin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pete Halford firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Huddersfield FC booed when Pucklechurch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Sawyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Charles Gunn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gez Tomkin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Pete Halford when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Derek Pitt scored 7-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Callum Middleton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
