Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaq Biernat started the match with the kick off. Albert Deacon struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Pierce Bennett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MK Dans. After a rather tough play, Beckton's Russell Brownlow got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Beckton defense, Brett Skipton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierce Bennett. The Beckton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierce Bennett should have stopped the shot. After 11 played minutes MK Dans got a freekick which was hit by Rex Way. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Pierce Bennett successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Rex Way recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pierce Bennett. Rex Way showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Marc Broom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beckton's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Broom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conal Edwards breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Albert Deacon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pierce Bennett. The goal made the score 3-0. Marc Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Conal Edwards tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Beckton booed when MK Dans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Downton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Kelvin Buxton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beckton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelvin Buxton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Merrill in the 37th minute of play forced MK Dans's goalkeeper Conal Edwards to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Deacon during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Skipton in the 45th minute of play forced Beckton's goalkeeper Pierce Bennett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Drew Merrill made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, MK Dans's Rex Way got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Drew Merrill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Beckton booed when MK Dans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Southgate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conal Edwards made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Marc Broom sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of MK Dans booed when Beckton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Callum Workman didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 64th minute of the match Albert Deacon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albert Deacon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, MK Dans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zaq Biernat to maneuver through the defense. When Rex Way fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MK Dans's protests and gave Rex Way a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Rex Way hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beckton's Pierce Bennett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett Skipton in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Beckton got a freekick which was hit by Callum Workman. Conal Edwards made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Merrill in the 80th minute of play. When Marc Broom came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Beckton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Broom couldn't finish the play. After 85 minutes, Zaq Biernat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MK Dans and the Beckton players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Marc Barber fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MK Dans's protests and gave Marc Barber a yellow card for diving instead. Marc Barber hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Beckton players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MK Dans.
