The supporters of Horfield booed when Pocklington FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Clegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dale Kinsey was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lewis Page. Dale Kinsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronny Maxell in the 15th minute of the match. John-Paul Snowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Ernesto dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John-Paul Snowden was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Dom Waple's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John-Paul Snowden was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Ernesto dos Santos took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John-Paul Snowden. John-Paul Snowden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. John-Paul Snowden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto dos Santos in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Dom Waple left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pocklington FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dom Waple in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John-Paul Snowden saved Horfield from getting behind. After 35 played minutes Horfield got a freekick which was hit by Ron Bittner. John-Paul Snowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dom Waple, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute, one of Pocklington FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pocklington FC. Lewis Page shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rupert McDermot hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Ronny Maxell in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pocklington FC's Rupert McDermot. The Horfield players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pocklington FC were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theagenis Ksagorarakis made a kick off. John-Paul Snowden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto dos Santos in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute Theagenis Ksagorarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Kinsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Charlton during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Waple in the 71st minute of play forced Horfield's goalkeeper John-Paul Snowden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pocklington FC's Wes Swain got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Rupert McDermot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for John-Paul Snowden. Horfield's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. John-Paul Snowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Sebastien Conway dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of John-Paul Snowden, 0-6. The Horfield supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pocklington FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pocklington FC.
