Spectators: 7960 (Terracing: 5971, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Shephard in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oliver Christensen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Trev Hartshorn got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jools Hallam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Oliver Christensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kev Freeman fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malmesbury's protests and gave Kev Freeman a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Malmesbury got a freekick which was hit by Kev Freeman. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Trev Hartshorn hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, Malmesbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özen Cesimi to maneuver through the defense. Curtis Butterworth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oliver Christensen. Malmesbury's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Trev Hartshorn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malmesbury's Oliver Christensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Malmesbury from getting a goal against them. If Jools Hallam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron Cordingley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kev Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jason Shephard in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oliver Christensen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute, Jason Shephard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oliver Christensen. The goal made the score 2-0. Jools Hallam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malmesbury's Oliver Christensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Malmesbury from getting a goal against them. Jason Shephard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Christensen having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kev Freeman was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Trev Hartshorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Christensen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malmesbury's Oliver Christensen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jools Hallam in the 55th minute of play. Jason Shephard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Oliver Christensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maciej Mielcarz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jason Shephard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jools Hallam in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Christensen saved Malmesbury from getting behind. Jools Hallam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Oliver Christensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Gone With the Win's Jools Hallam made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Christensen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jools Hallam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Oliver Christensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Shephard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Christensen having to interfere. The supporters of Malmesbury booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jools Hallam didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Shephard in the 85th minute of play forced Malmesbury's goalkeeper Oliver Christensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maciej Mielcarz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Malmesbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Mielcarz couldn't finish the play. Maciej Mielcarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ron Cordingley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Maciej Mielcarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ron Cordingley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keiran Barkley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Malmesbury players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gone With the Win.
