Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jon Johnstone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wes Swain's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Wes Swain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jon Johnstone was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Vinnie Bradbury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Ernesto dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Wes Swain sped through Unia Tarnow's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Johnstone. The Pocklington FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Pocklington FC's Dom Waple looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Wes Swain put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Jon Johnstone. Jon Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Unia Tarnow getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dave Colman hit a great ball. Jon Johnstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Swain, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Pocklington FC were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When %teams%'s Wes Swain was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-8 just inside the left pole, 52 minutes into the game. Jon Johnstone was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Tom Bond charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Bond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tom Bond hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jon Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dom Waple, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alistair Downham was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Unia Tarnow:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pocklington FC:s goal. Pocklington FC's Ernesto dos Santos made a sure 1-9 on a nice kicked penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto dos Santos got free with Jon Johnstone in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jon Johnstone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wes Swain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-10 in the 65 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Ernesto dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Wes Swain took a quick shot and it went in 1-11 without a chance for Jon Johnstone to make any attempt to save it. Jon Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Waple in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Pocklington FC's Wes Swain stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Jon Johnstone stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Unia Tarnow of the goal.
