Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 158) Unia Tarnow's Rory Bevan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Jon Johnstone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ron Cordingley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rory Bevan went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute of the match Nathan Holdroyd shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ron Cordingley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doug Charie during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Doug Charie got a free kick in the 19th minute. Reggie Higgins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ron Cordingley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Doug Charie was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. Doug Charie kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ron Cordingley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Higgins, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Bevan in the 39th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ron Cordingley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Reggie Higgins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unia Tarnow's supporters rose to their feet, but Reggie Higgins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ron Cordingley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Unia Tarnow booed when Gone With the Win was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Slator didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Lloyd Fry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unia Tarnow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lloyd Fry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ron Cordingley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rory Bevan went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Hugh Lappin made the kick off in the second half. Rory Bevan in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ron Cordingley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Gone With the Win getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dominik Slator hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lloyd Fry got free with Ron Cordingley in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ron Cordingley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reggie Higgins in the 66th minute of play. Rory Bevan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ron Cordingley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Bevan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Bevan in the 74th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ron Cordingley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Cordingley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reggie Higgins went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. When Dominik Slator fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gone With the Win's protests and gave Dominik Slator a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, one of Gone With the Win:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gone With the Win. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Unia Tarnow's Lloyd Fry got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ron Cordingley. Tom Bond hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Blair Allison didn't quite understand what happened when in the 88 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Gone With the Win's Ron Cordingley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Bevan in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Bevan in the 94th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ron Cordingley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Bevan came free, but Ron Cordingley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ron Cordingley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Bond. The Unia Tarnow players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
