Spectators: 6647 (Terracing: 5249, Seating: 1374, VIP seats: 24) Gone With the Win's Hugh Lappin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ron Cordingley came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pocklington FC's Wes Swain. But to his dismay, Wes Swain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gone With the Win's Ron Cordingley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dom Waple in the 8th minute of play. Wes Swains short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Ron Cordingley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th minute of the match, Dom Waple tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ron Cordingley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ron Cordingley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dom Waple, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ron Cordingley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Waple in the 13th minute of play. Ron Cordingley made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wes Swain sent off a good shot on target. Dom Waple sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Dom Waple cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ron Cordingley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wes Swains short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Ron Cordingley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Tod Clegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron Cordingley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dom Waple, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wes Swain succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 49th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dom Waple stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Pocklington FC's Wes Swain in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gone With the Win's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58thth minute of the game Dom Waple who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gone With the Win's Ron Cordingley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Dom Waple put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ron Cordingley. Ron Cordingley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dom Waple's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Pocklington FC's Dom Waple made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ron Cordingley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gone With the Win's Ron Cordingley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dom Waple in the 68th minute of play. When Pocklington FC's Dom Waple in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gone With the Win's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Gone With the Win's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Swain came free, but Ron Cordingley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dom Waple received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ron Cordingley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron Cordingley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wes Swain went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Wes Swain sped through Gone With the Win's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ron Cordingley. In the 89th minute, Ernesto dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ron Cordingley was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 93rd minute, Ernesto dos Santos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pocklington FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. After some careless play in the Gone With the Win defense, Wes Swain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ron Cordingley. The Gone With the Win fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ron Cordingley should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Pocklington FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
