Yngve Lägdin was a little too slow when Stevie Bakewell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 9 minutes of play, Pocklington FC's Wes Swain made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremy Pickard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pocklington FC's Sebastien Conway got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kimpton's Jeremy Pickard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastien Conway in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Dom Waple cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jeremy Pickard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeremy Pickard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowan Avery, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Charles Brewer hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Charles Brewer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes, Wes Swain made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Kimpton's Jeremy Pickard tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Pocklington FC booed when Kimpton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Renton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremy Pickard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Clegg in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Wes Swain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Pickard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Pickard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daryl Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Dom Waple left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pocklington FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Dom Waple fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Pickard having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Wes Swain notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Kimpton's Jeremy Pickard. Jeremy Pickard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rupert McDermot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jeremy Pickard. Kimpton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremy Pickard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastien Conway in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dom Waple made a kick off. Jeremy Pickard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wes Swain in the 54th minute. Rupert Beadle kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match, Dom Waple tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremy Pickard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kimpton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Daryl Bannister scored to the left of an out of position Jeremy Pickard, making the score, 1-8. After a defensive mix-up in Kimpton's zone, Sebastien Conway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Pickard came out of the goal and Sebastien Conway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Dylan Woodman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Dom Waple reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremy Pickard. The goal made the score 1-9. In the 67th minute of the match Rupert McDermot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremy Pickard skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Woodman during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Dylan Woodman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Wes Swain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremy Pickard. Kimpton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wes Swain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. In the 75th minute, Sebastien Conway reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremy Pickard. The goal made the score 1-11. Jeremy Pickard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Waple in the 82nd minute of play. Jeremy Pickard made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Wes Swain sent off a good shot on target. 98 minutes into the match, Wes Swain had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremy Pickard. Kimpton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wes Swain was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-14. When the final whistle sounded Pocklington FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kimpton.
