The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnathon Hanley got free with Piers Bowe in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piers Bowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brynn La Forte in the 7th minute of play. Piers Bowe made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Reuben Billington sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Ralph Blowman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Brynn La Forte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bramcote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Lenny Sedgemore hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Rio Searle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Piers Bowe came out and tried to block the shot, but Rio Searle slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 33rd minute. Piers Bowe was a little too slow when Brynn La Forte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 6-0. The supporters of Bramcote booed when Cardiff City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Grantham didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Isaac Boyes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piers Bowe. Isaac Boyes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. After some careless play in the Cardiff City defense, Brynn La Forte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piers Bowe. The Cardiff City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piers Bowe should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liam Ackland was the one to do the kick off. Cardiff City's Ted Grantham got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Giles Colbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piers Bowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Bramcote's Giles Colbert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piers Bowe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 67th minute, Brynn La Forte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piers Bowe was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Piers Bowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brynn La Forte went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Isaac Boyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piers Bowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Brynn La Forte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. The Cardiff City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piers Bowe should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Reuben Billington left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bramcote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. Piers Bowe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brynn La Forte went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 17-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bramcote fully deserved thier win.
